"Chris Theofanidis's choral music would work very well as church anthems. The text settings are clear and appropriate, and the instrumental accompaniments are forceful but not overwhelming. There is nothing in the musical language (very traditional) that would be out of place in church. The vocal and instrumental music on the disc is of varying style and interest....The standout piece on the disc is Sikelanos for Pierrot instrumentation plus two conga drum players."
